On the 11th of September we had an early start when Mick Leach led ten bikes on the Bucket and Spade run, a very pleasant ride to New Brighton. And while eating an ice-cream we watched a Lancaster Bomber do a fly past, obviously on its way to a show close by, Great. The September Club night went well with Justin Harvey –James giving a talk on the record keeping of B.S.A.and Triumph, Very interesting. Another early start on the 18th of September when 17 bikes set out on the Breakfast Run

Once again we must thank Pat and his wife Shelly for allowing us to use their country abode to have our annual B.B.Q. With good weather good company and good food. Well nobody complained about the cooking anyway, a great day out. On the 14 th of August the Tax Dodgers run had a turnout of 14 bikes. I must apologize to all the members that turned up on the February club night expecting to listen to Jim Lee give his talk on his experiences in the motorcycle industry. Unfortunately for reasons beyond our control he had to cancel but Jim has promised that he will be with us this month April the 12th to give his talk. Eddy Grew very kindly volunteered to step in and organized a quiz to test our brains and memories on film stars, motorcycle racers etc. This I think went down very well and

Brian’s slide night in January which always attracts a lot of members had a record attendants of forty seven. Brian put on a good selection of pictures which I believe we all enjoyed and at half time we had the raffle, when the two ladies collected £134 towards this year’s charity. If anyone takes pictures whilst on any of the rides over the following year and thinks that they are good enough to be shown on the big screen then let Brian know, but you must get them to him shortly after the event
